Mr. James Howard Moser, 74, of Stronghurst, IL passed away at 1:30 AM Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab in Stronghurst. He was born on April 29, 1940 in Manchester, IA, the son of Howard and Marjorie Luense Moser. On January 8, 1968 he married Andrea Rose in Ottumwa, IA.

James owned and operated Triangle Fire Control in Agency, Fairfield and Burlington, IA for many years. He then managed the Kum & Go Convenience store in Burlington for 25 years, retiring in June of 2013. Mr. Moser was a member of the Stronghurst Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Andrea, six children, Vicki Warner of Ottumwa, IA, Kathy Underwood of Ottumwa, IA, Ron Moser of Ottumwa, IA, Chris Moser of Centerton, AR, Chanda Moser-Callaway of Middletown, IA, and Tanya Neier of Bella Vista, AR, 22 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, a brother, Richard Moser of Illinois, and a sister, Susan Crouch of Oregon.

James was preceded in death by his parents.
