Ileen Mae Brown, 92, of Niota, IL passed away at 2:15 AM Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the Montibello Health Care Center in Hamilton, IL.

Ileen was born on November 8, 1926. She was the daughter of Frank and Susie H. Seigfried Brown.

She was born and raised on her family's farm near Niota. Growing up she helped raise hogs. She went to work and eventually retired from Shelor-Globe in Keokuk, IA. Ileen was a member of the Presbyterian Faith. She loved being around children and enjoyed listening to country music.

She is survived by two sisters, Norma Quesenberry of Carthage, IL, Mary Black of Burnside, IL,  and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Ileen was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Hazel Brown and Myrtle Brown, one brother, Lee Brown, sister-in-law, Dora Jean Brown, two brothers-in-law, Marion Quesenberry and Charlie Black, and three nephews, Roger,  Byron and Steve Brown.

Services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Banks &Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City, IL with Algie Peterson officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until time of service. Burial will be in the Tull Cemetery near Niota.
