H. Pat Clanton
H. "Pat" Clanton, 61, of Dallas City, IL, passed away at 3:00 P.M. Monday, July 11, 2016 at the OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria Illinois.

"Pat", as he was known to friends and family, was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, January 3, 1955 the son of Warren and Erma Ludlum Clanton. Pat along with his family moved to Dallas City, IL, in 1962. He graduated Dallas City High School in 1973 and attended College of the Ozarks. He worked as a carpenter and enjoyed heating and air conditioning. Pat was always willing to help others and will be deeply missed.

Pat is survived by two brothers, Mike of Dallas City and Larry (Renee) Clanton of Bolingbrook, Ill. He is also survived by a niece and two nephews.

Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City where the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Harris Cemetery, Dallas City, with Rev. Rick Goettsche officiating. A memorial fund has been established.
