Mr. Gary James Sveback, 72, of Dallas City, IL passed away at 6:35 AM Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at his home.

He was born April 25, 1945 in Wadena, MN, the son of August and Selma Sveback. On January 23, 1965 he married Diane Roberts.

Mr. Sveback retired from Dial Corp. in 2004 with 40 years of service. He was a long standing member of the Fort Madison Moose Club, Eagles Club and the Elks Club.

Surviving are his wife, Diane, 2 daughters, JoAnn (Daniel) Clark and Cheryl (James) Barlow and 1 son, Randy (Lori) Sveback, 2 grandsons, William and Joseph (Garriann) Sveback and great-granddaughter, Addison Sveback.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers.

A celebration of life of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to Lee County Hospice, 2218 Ave. H, Fort Madison, IA 52627.
