Frank F. Muenzenmaier, 86, of Dallas City, IL passed away at 10:35 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 at his home.

Frank was born on April 5, 1929 in Dallas City the son of Roy and Ella Smith Muenzenmaier. On September 13, 1986 he married Jereldene Neff. She survives.

He had worked as farmer for most of his life. He also operated a saw mill with his father, worked as a carpenter with J.D. Melton and retired from Dadants in Dallas City where he had worked for 15 years.

Survivors include his wife, Jereldene, three step-children, Rebecca Murphy of Dallas City, Jeff Manning of West Point, IA and Gary Manning of Dallas City, eight step-grandchildren, ten step-great-grandchildren, one niece and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Helen Knight.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City with Joe Stewart officiating. Burial will be held at Harris Cemetery, Dallas City. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for the Memorial Hospital, Carthage, IL.
