Franciene Bouseman, 95, of LaHarpe, IL died at 6:50pm Monday, February 18, 2019 at her home.

She was born December 23, 1923 in LaHarpe, the daughter of Paul Bert and Marie Blythe Peyron. On June 12, 1943 she married Kermit Bouseman in Cheyenne, WY. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1983.

Franciene was a 1941 graduate of LaHarpe High School and later attended Brown Business College in Galesburg, IL. Early in life she worked as a teller at the LaHarpe State Bank. She assisted her husband with the operation of Bouseman's Auto Supply for many years and also worked for Horace Mann Insurance in Springfield, IL. She was a member of the Thursday Club and the LaHarpe Union Church.

She is survived by one son, Brian (Karla) Bouseman of LaHarpe, two grandchildren, Teri (Travis) Coker of Swan, IA and Tim (Melissa) Bouseman of Redding, CA, six great-grandchilden, one brother, Vic Peyron of Plant City, FL, her sister-in-law, Opal Peyron of Farmersville, TX, brother-in-law, Don Bouseman of North Barrington, IL and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother, Albert "Bud" Peyron and her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 1, 2019 at banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe with Rev. Bruce Goettsche officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the LaHarpe Cemetery. The family will meet with friends for 1 hour prior to service time. A memorial has been established for the LaHarpe Ambulance Service or the LaHarpe Union Church.
