Evelyn M. Morris, age 86 of Dallas City, Illinois died at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday February 23, 2011 in the Fort Madison Community Hospital, Fort Madison, Iowa. She was born October 22, 1924 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Paul Wallace and Anna May Pascoe Phillips. She was married to Milford Ellis Morris. He preceded her in death in 1984.

Mrs. Morris lived in the Chicago area for many years, moving to Dallas City in 1970. She loved her cats. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dallas City.
Survivors include one son - Ted (Judy Flook) Cota of Broomfield, Colorado, three step children, several step grandchildren and three sisters - DeEtta Phillips of Niota, IL., Nancy Wallace of Florida, and Ceann Collier of Sycamore, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, father,Paul Wallace, and mother and step father- Anna and Ralph Phillips.

Cremation rites have been accorded. No visitation is planned.. Committal services will be held in Kentucky at a later date. A memorial mass will be given at 5:30 p.m. March 3, 2011 in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dallas City. A memorial fund has been established for her church.
