Mrs. Eva M. Oriano, 91, of Dallas City, Illinois passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 8:30 P.M. at the Gilpin Home in Dallas City.

She was born February 18, 1916 in Meredosia, Illinois, the daughter of Leonard and Sarah Hignight Price. On March 9, 1943 she married Fred A. Oriano in Kahoka, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1982.

Eva was a member of the Dallas City Senior Citizens and a lifetime member of the Dallas City American Legion Auxiliary. She attended the First Christian Church in Dallas City.

She is survived by two step-sons, Richard Oriano and Hugh Oriano, both of Burlington, Iowa, 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City. Burial will be in the Harris Cemetery near Dallas City. Friends may call after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home where the family will meet with friends from 1:00 PM until time of services. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for the Dallas City American Legion Auxiliary.
