E Wayne Meek, DC, 90, formerly of Stronghurst IL and Burlington IA went home to be with the Lord February 6th 2011 in Columbus OH. Preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Barbara and two brothers, he is survived by daughter Margo (Bob) Zerman of Columbus OH, grandson Zach Zerman of Cincinnati OH and son Gary Meek of Colorado.

He served in the Army during WWII and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport IA in 1946. He dedicated his life to Chropractic serving the people of the Stronghurst area for 52 years.

Visitation will be February 10 from 9:00am -10:00 am at Banks and Beals Funeral Home in Stronghurst IL with the Funeral Service at 10:00. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb IL. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Odyssey Hospice 540 Officecenter Place Gahanna OH 43230.
