Donald Dean Denney Jr., 63, of Burlington, Iowa, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the UnityPoint Health Trinity in Rock Island, Illinois.

Don was born on December 2, 1957 in Great Bend, Kansas the son of Donald Dean and LaDonna (Thomas) Denney Sr. On December 1, 1979 he married Peggy Miller. She preceded him in death on September 20, 1994. On December 4, 1999 he married Stephanie Lieurance in Mesa, Arizona. She survives.

Mr. Denney worked as service manager and mechanic in Arizona, before moving to Burlington in 2010. He was currently employed as a Team Leader at Menards. In his spare time he enjoyed working on anything with a motor, fishing and especially spending time with his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife: Stephanie; two daughters: Amanda (Mark) Reyes of Coolidge, Arizona and Crystia (Brendon) Blair of Burlington and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Mount Hope, Kansas. Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City, Illinois, is assisting the family.
