Dean Carl Bielser

Dean Carl Bielser, age 70 of Gladstone, Illinois died at 6:40 p.m. Friday July 22, 2011 at his home. He was born April 6, 1941 in Gladstone, the son of Earl R. and Frances P. Krow Bielser. On June 26, 1965, he married Judy Smith.

Mr. Bielser had worked at Benner Tea/Aldi Company for fifteen years, and for the Twomey Company in Gladstone for twenty five years, retiring in 2004.

He attended Gladstone schools, and was a 1959 graduate of G & O High School. Following high school, he served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1963 and was stationed in Texas, Alaska, and Spain.

Survivors include his wife, three sons- Chris (Penny) Stewart of Denmark, IA., Chad (Rebecca) Bielser of St. Joe Beach, FL., Michael (Mary) Bielser of Gladstone, twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers- Earl Bielser Jr of Monmouth, IL., Ron Bielser of Gladstone, and three sisters- Carol Peterson and Charlotte Foster of Gladstone, and Connie Hull of St. Joseph, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

The funeral for Mr. Bielser will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday July 25, 2011 in the Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Stronghurst with Rev. Richard Johnson officiating. Burial with military rites will be in the Olena Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Banks & Beals Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established for the Henderson County Health Department Hospice.
