Mr. Clinton N. Quesenberry, Sr., 83, of Niota, IL passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at his home. He was born on August 18, 1932 near Stronghurst, IL the son of Draper G. And Nancy Farris Quesenberry. On September 29, 1951 he married Martha Mae Peel in LaHarpe. She survives.
Clinton served in the U.S. Army with the 11th Airborne from 1952-1954. He was a member of the Local 525, Burlington. He worked as a Foreman for Carl A. Nelson and also farmed near Niota. Clinton enjoyed hunting and mushrooming.
Survivors include his wife; three children: Susan (Brad) Maddux of Blue Springs, MO, Clinton Kip N. (Heather) Quesenberry, Jr., of Keokuk, IA, Melissa Quesenberry of Fort Madison, IA; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marje Wilde of Sun City, AZ.
Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and six sisters.
No visitation is planned. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Harris Cemetery near Dallas City with Ron Fish officiating. A memorial fund has been established for the Riverbend Congregation of Jehova Witnesses, Montrose, IA. Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas city is in charge of arrangements.
