Mrs. Cheryl J. Faul, 62, of Dallas City, IL passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 at 3:15 PM in the Blessing Hospital, Quincy, IL.
She was born July 21, 1951 in Fort Madison, IA, the daughter of Paul David and Lois Mae Huett Morgan. On May 6, 2000 she married Charles A. Faul Jr. in Dallas City. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2011. Their first date was on September 1, 1998 and instead of flowers and candy, he presented her with two good used tires and a fishing license.
Cheryl was raised in Dallas City. She worked at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN for 16 years and also was a personal attendant for clients with M.S. and C.P.. In 1995 she moved back to Dallas City and worked as a substitute assistant at the Ferris School. While working there, she met Jason Bradley and later became his foster mother. She and her husband also worked at Wal-Mart for 10 years. Cheryl loved seeing pictures of the grandchildren and keeping up with family on Facebook.
She is survived by one sister, Paula (Ralph) Faul of Dallas City and her foster son, Jason Bradley of Galesburg, IL, 3 step-daughters, 4 Step-sons, 18 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and an infant brother, David Paul Morgan.
A memorial service will held at 7:00 PM Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Grace Bible Church in Dallas City with Rev. Joe Stewart officiating. Burial will be in the Harris Cemetery at a later date. A memorial fund has been established for the Grace Bible Food Pantry.
