Richard Brzezinski, age 64 of rural Stronghurst, Illinois, died at 2:45 p.m. January 2, 2014 at his home. He was born May 19, 1949 in Kaliska, Poland, the son of Wladyslaw and Zophia Jochim Brzezinski.

Mr. Brzezinski immigrated to the United States in 1978 and lived in the Chicago area for several years. He then moved to Stronghurst, where he worked as a welder for the D.C. Cooper Company for the past several years.
Survivors include one sister - Gabriela Lewandowski of Richmand, British Columbia, and two brothers- Zbigniew and Jerzy Brzezinski, both of Poland.

No local services are planned at this time. Cremation rites have been accorded and Mr. Brzezinski's ashes will be buried in Brzezinnyslaskie, Poland at a later date. Banks & Beals Funeral Home of Stronghurst is in charge of local arrangements. se nd a condolence here.
