Robert Raymond "Bob" Scott

Bob Scott, Age 83 passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 in Sebring, Florida.  He was born in Jacksonville, Illinois to Clarence and Georgia (Winner) Scott on February 27, 1936.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.

Bob and Carol moved to Stronghurst in 1967 where he taught, coached, and was the principal for 19 years before becoming the Assistant Regional Superintendent for Henderson, Mercer and Warren Counties for 12 years before retiring from education in 1998.

Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn of Sebring Fl; son,Tony (Jodi) Scott of Knoxville, and daughter, Melodie Bahan (Michael) of Minneapolis; five grandchildren; Dan, Andrea, Allison, Katherine and Adham.

Along with his parents, Bob was predeceased by his brothers Larry and Mike and a step-son Dan Bahan.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Banks and Beals in Stronghurst on Saturday, May 25th at 10:30 a.m. with lunch being served at the American Legion Hall, on Broadway Street in Stronghurst. Please feel free to share any memories you may have of Bob.
