Mr. Billy R. Nail, 47, of Dallas City, IL passed away at 9:30pm Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at his home.

He was born September 19, 1972 in Burlington, IA, the son of James Junior and Mary Lou Stein Nail. In 2000 he married Trina Todd. They later divorced.

Billy was a graduate of the Sand Rock, Alabama High School. He worked for the Robin Lynn Hosiery Mills in Fort Payne, AL and most recently for Gleason's Corporation in Fort Madison, IA. He enjoyed fishing and collecting Star Wars and Star Trek movies.

He is survived by one son, Kaleb Todd of Lomax, IL, two daughters, Hanna Nail of Washington, IA and Jenna Nail of Colona, IA, three grandchildren, Parker Andries, Aleigha Todd and Sienna Todd, his mother, Mary Lou Stein of Dallas City, his grandmother, Juanita Ballinger of Nauvoo, IL and one brother, David Duane Nail of Ottumwa, IA.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City. A memorial fund has been established in his memory.
