Billy C. Hoover, 62, of Stronghurst, Illinois, passed away at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa.  He was born January 14, 1962 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Charles Theodore and Dorothy Ann Funk Hoover.  On June 11, 1982, he married Melinda Kay Thomason in Burlington.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter: Olivia Hoover of Burlington, one grandson: Dakota Hoover, two brothers: Jim and Mike, and two sisters: Loni and Cheryl.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one son: Jeremy Hoover.
