Betty's memorial service has been rescheduled for 10:30am Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe with Rev. Lee Unger officiating. Burial will follow in the LaHarpe Cemetery.

Betty Louise Traisnel, 93, passed away January 3, 2020. She was born August 4, 1926 in La Harpe, Illinois, where she and her siblings grew up on a farm.

The loving wife of the late Albert Traisnel; dear mother of two wonderful daughters, Karen (Stephen) Wedepohl and Karol Hanson; cherished grandmother of Deirdre (Jeremy) Gertken, Meghan (David) Mohan, Becky Hanson and Eric Hanson; dear great-grandmother of nine. Betty is also survived by one sister Elaine (Chuck) White and was preceded in death by her parents, Errett and Zelma Hodges (nee Knobbs) and one brother, Max Hodges.

Betty enjoyed sewing, crocheting, bowling and playing cards with her friends.

The family received friends for a memorial visitation on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral and Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, MO 63304.
