Betty Joe "Jody" Wilson

Betty J. Jody Wilson, age 67 of Galesburg, Illinois, formerly of Stronghurst died at 5:05 a.m. Friday September 2, 2011 in Cottage Hospital in Galesburg. She was born January 17, 1944 in Galesburg, the daughter of Ernest and Katherine Grace Carnes Wilson.

Jody had lived in Stronghurst for many years. She later lived in Woodhull before moving to Galesburg.

Survivors include one brother - Robert Bud Wilson of Woodhull, Illinois and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister - Mary Ann Vance.

No visitation is planned. A graveside service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 14, 2011 in the Walnut Grove Cemetery near Media, Illinois. Banks & Beals Funeral Home of Stronghurst is in charge of arrangements..
