Barbara A. Lebeck, 73, of West Burlington, Iowa, passed away Monday, September 29, 2008 at 9:25 A.M. at the Burlington Care Center.
She was born August 17, 1935 in Marietta, Illinois, the daughter of Demming and Beulah Smith Moon. On December 22, 1953 she married Albert Lebeck in Henderson County, IL. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1985.
She is survived by one son, Roger Lebeck of Watseka, Illinois, one daughter, Deborah Ewing of Burlington, Iowa, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers, Demming Moon of Tupelo, Mississippi and Lyman Moon of Nauvoo, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son, Danny Lebeck and 1 sister, Marjorie Pearce.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the Terre Haute, Illinois Cemetery with Pastor Algie Peterson officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. Following the services all family and friends are invited to a luncheon at the LaHarpe Masonic Lodge. There will be no visitation. Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe is assisting with arrangements.
