Annabell White, age 95, of Stronghurst, Illinois, passed away at 9:01 a.m. Saturday November 24, 2018 at Oakwood Estates Assisted Living Center in Stronghurst. She was born February 12, 1923 in Biggsville, IL, The daughter of Edgar and Veda Perdue Rankin. On March 17, 1948, she married Robert J. White in Kirkwood, Illinois. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2008.

Annabell and her husband farmed all their adult life in Terre Haute township. She was a graduate of Biggsville High School and a member of the Stronghurst United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and playing cards, bingo, and dominoes.

Survivors include three sons- Bill (Bonna) White and David White, both of Carman, IL, Alan White of Lomax, IL, four grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and one sister, Doris Smith of Monmouth, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one brother, Kenneth Rankin.

Friends may call at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Stronghurst from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday November 28, 2018 at Banks & Beals, with Pastor Lisa Unger officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Terre Haute Cemetery, rural Lomax, IL. Memorials have been established for Henderson County Cancer Fund, Oakwood Estates, and the Stronghurst United Methodist Church.
