Freda A. Neff

Freda A. Neff, 84, of Toluca, Illinois, formerly of Lomax, Illinois passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 10:40 PM at the Asta Care Center in Toluca.

She was born on May 23, 1927, in London, England. On January 2, 1949 she married Walter Neff in Stronghurst, Illinois He preceded her in death on August 2, 1997.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Alan Robert Neff, her daughter, Debra K. Neff and her parents.

She had worked as a secretary at Lloyd’s of London before moving to the United States in 1948. After moving here, she worked at Champion Spark Plug and worked with her husband doing custom farm work.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Crane Cemetery near Lomax, Illinois. Friends may call at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM Thursday. Send a condolence here.
