Harold D. Wilson

Mr. Harold D. Wilson, 74, of Good Hope, Illinois passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010 in Macomb, Illinois.

He was born August 12, 1935 in Industry, Illinois, the son of Marshall and Helen Brown Wilson. On November 17, 1987 he married Charlene Breiner DeBold in Kahoka, Missouri.

Mr. Wilson was a graduate of the Industry High School and served in the US Army 1958 - 1961. He worked at NTN Bower in Macomb for 30 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Rushville American Legion Post 4 and the Forty and Eight Club.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Tammy (Russell) Hodges of Venice, Florida and Jill (Kevin) Bleichner of Peoria, Illinois, five step-children, David DeBold of Macomb, Doran (Diane) DeBold and Darren DeBold all of Blandinsville, Illinois, Robin (Bill) Huffman of Auburn, Alabama and Lisa (Noel) Pope of Farmville, North Carolina, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one brother, Eugene Wilson of Pool, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly Ann Wilson, two brothers and two sisters.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Banks and Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe with Rev. Bill Huffman officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in the LaHarpe Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home where the family will meet with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
