Leroy "Lee" Clark 
Mr. Leroy “Lee” Clark, 64, of rural Blandinsville, Illinois died Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 11:10 a.m. at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born November 20, 1945 in Macomb, Illinois, the son of Elmer and Dorothy Bloyd Clark. On July 12, 1966 he married Barbara Gittings in New Burn, North Carolina.
Mr. Clark was a 1963 graduate of LaHarpe High School. He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps from November, 1965- November, 1967. He raised livestock and worked part time at the Carthage Livestock Auction. He enjoyed fishing, mushrooming, and spending time with his grandchildren and attending their activities. He was a avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Sherrie(Travis) Weaver of Blandinsville, Stacie Mynatt of Macomb, Illinois, one son, Matthew (Kari) Clark of Kewanee, Illinois, 10 grandchildren, Victoria, Morgan, Carter and Regan Weaver, Hunter, Brody, Dawson and Sydney Mynatt, Addison and Braden Clark, 4 brothers, William Clark, Ricky Markey and Richard Markey, all of Carthage, Illinois, and Robert Markey Jr. of LaHarpe, Illinois, 3 sisters, Cathy Johnson of Dallas City, Illinois, Patty Finch of Carthage, and Brenda Kern of Mt. Airy, North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer, his mother and step-father, Dorothy and Robert Markey Sr. and one brother, Daniel Markey.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the LaHarpe Christian Church with Robert Tillman officiating. Burial, with Military Rites, will be in the Crane Cemetery, Lomax, Illinois. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Friday at the LaHarpe Christian Church where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday. A memorial fund has been established for the MDH Hospice.
