Julianne "Julie" Good

Julianne “Julie” Good, 66, of Dallas City, Illinois passed away Monday, July 20, 2009 at 7:45 P.M. at the Memorial Hospital in Carthage, Illinois.

She was born May 13, 1943 in Macomb, Illinois, the daughter of Russell E. and Susan J. Hermetet Good.

She was a 1961 graduate of Western High School in Macomb and later graduated from Gradwohl School of Medical Technology in St. Louis, Missouri. She lived in Texas, Ohio, Arizona and Biloxi, Mississippi. Following hurricane Katrina, she moved to Dallas City in 2005. She had worked as a medical lab technician, x-ray tech, operated a health food store and fitness center. She worked for a casino in Biloxi for 15 years before moving to Dallas City.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Sara (Richard) Smith of Blandinsville, Illinois and Janet (William) Prince of Columbia, Maryland and sixteen nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Kathleen Greer Farley, one niece and two nephews.

There will be no services. Her body has been donated to medical science. A memorial fund has been established for the Lomax Ambulance Service or the Blandinsville Fire and Rescue.
