Addie Jo Mapes

Addie Jo Mapes, 23 month old daughter of Murphy and Kelly Mapes of LaHarpe, Illinois passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 7:50 P.M. at the Fort Madison Community Hospital, Fort Madison, Iowa.

She was born July 13, 2007 in Carthage, Illinois

She is survived by her parents, two brothers, Zach and Hayden, three sisters, Saedi, Emma and Kaedi all at home, her grandparents, Danny and Betty June Mapes of LaHarpe and Leonard and Rebecca Gilpin of Dallas City, great-grandparents, Pat Shores of LaHarpe and Dorothy Gilpin of Dallas City and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by great-grandfathers, Robert Shores and Leonard Gilpin and her cousin, Jacob Markey.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe with Darren Beachy officiating. Burial will be in the McConnell-Geddes Cemetery near Fountain Green, Illinois. There will be no formal family visitation, but friends may stop at the funeral home between 4:00 and 8:00 P.M. Wednesday. A memorial fund has been established. Contributions may be left at the funeral home. Send a condolence here.
