Beulah Jacob

PEORIA HEIGHTS – Beulah V. "Tootie" Jacob, 96, of Peoria Heights, died on Friday, August 1, 2008 at her residence. Born May 13, 1912 in Batavia, Iowa, a daughter of Caswell Dee and Ethel Little Dalton, she married Lewis Neil Jacob on February 25, 1934 in Macomb, Illinois. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2002 in Peoria Heights.

Surviving are three daughters, Janice (Jim) Atterholt of Chardon, Ohio; Wanda (Vern) Martin of Peoria Heights; Janeil (Steve) Henderson of Knoxville, Maryland; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Jacob was a homemaker. She attended Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria where service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2008. Rev. Douglas Lightly will officiate. A private visitation for family will be held prior to service.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday in La Harpe Cemetery, La Harpe, Illinois. The Wilton Mortuary in Peoria and Banks & Beals Funeral Home in La Harpe are assisting family with arrangements. Send a condolence here
