Keith M. Huston

Mr. Keith M. Huston, 92, of LaHarpe, Illinois passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 11:25 A.M. at the McDonough District Hospital in Macomb, Illinois.

He was born June 14, 1915 near Fountain Green, Illinois the son of Kerus and Zola (Barr) Huston. On November 10, 1945 he married Frances Reed in Macomb, Illinois.

Mr. Huston was a graduate of the Fountain Green High School. He farmed for many years and later worked at WIU, retiring in 1980. He and his wife spent many winters in South Texas. He was a member of the Fountain Green Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Dianne (Rick) Balmer of LaHarpe and Donna (Wendell) Cunningham of Quincy, Illinois, 3 grandchildren, Jennifer (Tod) Cunningham of Quincy, Julie (Drew) Bequette of Savoy, Illinois and Jenni (Eric) Little of LaHarpe, 7 great-grandchildren, Emma, Gwen and Addy Cunningham, Avery and Caroline Bequette and Logan and Kaden Little, 2 sisters, Roberta Haines of LaHarpe and Dorothy (Gerald) Baker of Quincy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Edward Huston in WW II.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester, Illinois with Charles Ferguson officiating. A memorial fund has been established for the Fountain Green Presbyterian Church or St. Judes Children’s Hospital. There will be no visitation.
