Donna E. Mohr

Donna Eileen Mohr, 63, of Dallas City, IL, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, peacefully at her home.

Born April 12, 1944, in Hillsboro, IL, she was the daughter of William Eustace and Kathryn Ann Hiler Payne. On July 16, 1967, she married Dr. Lewis L. Mohr in Dallas City, IL.

Mrs. Mohr worked as a high school teacher of English, Spanish and French. She graduated from Hillsboro High School and attended college at Greenville, IL. She was a woman devoted to her faith and family.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Victoria Mohr and Dr. Kayla Crum both of Dallas City, IL; one son, Lewis I. Mohr of Dallas City, IL; one grandchild, Madison Crum of Dallas City, IL; two sisters, Kathy Goldsborough of Cowden, IL and Marion Crawford of Avon, IN; one brother, Richard Payne of Hilsboro, IL; nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City with Cevin Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Terre Haute, Illinois Cemetery. There will be no formal family visitation but friends may call between 3:00 and 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Send a condolence here.
