Lonnie G. Burk

Mr. Lonnie G. Burk, 45, of St. Francisville, Missouri died Thursday, January 31, 2008 near Victor, Iowa.

He was born September 7, 1962 in LaHarpe, Illinois. On August 31, 2002 he married Denise Cowell in Gladstone, Illinois.

Mr. Burk worked for Cessford Construction for 11 years and for the past 11 months was a driver for TMC Transportation.

He is survived by his wife, Denise, his parents, Buck and Jo Burk of Winchester, Illinois, Carl and Donna Smith of Shelbyville, Missouri and Milford and Bea Pence of Lomax, Illinois, his grandmother, Ruth Gibson of Cullman, Alabama, 4 step-children, Travis Devine of Hamilton, Illinois, Trista Weinreich of Lomax, Joshua Yeakey of Dallas City, Illinois and Britani Yeakey of St. Francisville, Missouri, 6 grandchildren, 5 brothers, Jimmy Pence, Timmy Pence and Chad Pence all of Lomax, John Pence of LaHarpe and Daniel Burk of Winchester, 5 sisters, Vickie Hardin of Bellflower, California, Kathy Blevins, Sherry McVey and Lori Duffie all of Winchester and Connie Monroe of Quincy, Illinois.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City with Pastor Julian Cowell officiating. Friends may call after 4:00 PM Monday at the funeral home where the family will meet with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday. A memorial fund has been established. Send a condolence here.
