Carlota Cisneros

Mrs. Carlota Cisneros, 78, of Burlington, Iowa, formerly of Lomax, Illinois passed away Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 4:45 A.M. at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa.

She was born November 11, 1928 in Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of Augustine and Catalina Camacho. In 1952 she married Fernando Cisneros. He preceded her in death.

She lived most of her adult life in Lomax where she attended the Lomax Church of the Nazarene. She had lived in Indiana for the past 7 years, returning to Burlington last month.

She is survived by five daughters, Carlotta Castillo and Ana Berta Cisneros of Lomax, Rose Ann Lindo of Burlington, Delia Martinez of Chicago and Angelita Cisneros of South Bend, Indiana, four sons, Isidore Cisneros of Santa Paula, California, Fernando Cisneros Jr. of Carman, Illinois, Roberto Cisneros of Crown Point, Indiana and Rolando Cisneros of South Bend, Indiana, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one brother, Felix Camacho of Matamoros, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons and two grandsons.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at the Lomax Church of the Nazarene with Revs. John and Bettyanna Bremer officiating. Burial will be in the Carman Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City where the family will meet with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. A memorial fund has been established.
