Wilbur "Bill" Cobb

Wilbur E. “Bill” Cobb, age 83 of Stronghurst, Illinois died at 7:10 P.M. Thursday August 9, 2007 in the Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab Center in Stronghurst. He was born April 22, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Ernest and Marjorie Laura Smith Cobb.

Mr. Cobb was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He had worked as a custodian for the Stronghurst School System for many years.

Survivors include one sister - Sandra O’Neal of Daytona Beach, Florida and several cousins.

Graveside committal services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday August 14, 2007 in the Stronghurst Cemetery with Rev. Gene Turner officiating. Send a condolence here.
