Junille Jones

Junille Jean Jones, age 47 of rural Stronghurst, Illinois died at 4:30 P.M. Thursday March 29, 2007 at her home. She was born March 24, 1960 in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Leland and Alice Wehage Long. She was married to Bruce Corey. Later on July 19 1997, she married Darrell Jones in Morning Sun, Iowa.

Mrs Jones was a homemaker, and a member of the Smithshire United Methodist Church, Smithshire, Illinois. Prior to her marriage, she worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant.

Survivors include her husband, 3 daughters- Audrey (and Roger) Cook of Raritan, Illinois, Valerie Corey of Stronghurst, Jo Beth Jones of Stronghurst, one granddaughter- Arabella Cook, her mother- Alice Long of Gulfport, IL., grandfather- Raymond Long of Winfield, IA., and one sister - Sharon Long of Fort Madison, IA. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday in the Peace Lutheran Church on Beaverdale Road in West Burlington, IA. with Rev. Cindy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery near Burlington. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Sunday at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Stronghurst. A memorial fund has been established for the Stronghurst Ambulance Service. Send a condolence here.
