Rosetta A. Fritz

Mrs. Rosetta A. Fritz, 91,of Pontoosuc, Illinois passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 1:03 AM at the Fort Madison Community Hospital.

She was born July 15, 1916 in Hancock County, Illinois, the daughter of Ralph and Millie Robinson Jones. On August 27, 1955 she married Clarence Fritz in Big Bear Lake, California.

Mrs. Fritz lived most of her adult life in California, moving back to this area in 1970. She was a member of the Pontoosuc Community Church. She enjoyed collecting dolls and miniature tea sets and loved animals.

Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Lana (John) Flack of Dallas City, Illinois, one grandson, Bryan (Wendy) Clinton of Chino Hills, California, one great-granddaughter, Morgan Marie Clinton and one sister, Pauline Flack of Dallas City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Ella Zozelpha “Sally” Black.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the Harris cemetery near Dallas City with Rev. Lee Unger officiating. The family will meet with friends from 6 until 7:30 PM Wednesday at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City. A memorial fund has been established for the Pontoosuc Community Church.
